uEmpower strives to connect young girls to inspirational women in various industries spanning from STEM, business, finance, and the arts, empowering young girls to take on their dreams and providing these girls with guiding figures to lead them along the way. uEmpower does this through a series of "Connect Events" that range from talks with industry professionals all the way to live connect rooms where members attend and ask questions to the featured woman.

Connect Series ✨

Connect events are interviews with women in various industries such as STEM, medicine, education, film, and more. Connect Rooms are events where members themselves can ask questions to featured women in a live event.

Volunteering 🫂

We believe that the best way to empower young girls is to give young girls the opportunity to help the community and the women around them. We look to hold various volunteering opportunities such as fundraisers for shelters, meal assistance, and assistance to younger girls in various topics such as school, extracurriculars, and anything they may need .

Meet the Team

Hello! We are the co-founders of uEmpower. We created uEmpower with the goal to provide a resource to young girls in our community to connect with influential women.

Aadya Chaudhary

I have always been incredibly passionate about working towards women empowerment and equality through writing articles or creating awareness presentations and videos. The idea for uEmpower originated after I took my first coding course when I noticed the low number of girls in the class. I made it my goal to create a platform where young girls feel encouraged from early on to be more receptive to take on different career paths in life. By means of this connect series, I hope to bring forward a different mindset on women leadership and show girls guiding figures and resources they can connect with and learn from.

Harshita Chintapudi

Hello! I am Harshita and I am happy you are joining uEmpower's journey to bring change, opportunity, and guidance to this generation of women! I was inspired to create this organization after I traveled internationally and saw how different men and women were treated; I saw women who did not enter the work field in their dream industries because they didn't know any women in that workspace and feared judgment from others, leaving them financially dependent. This organization targets minimizing that feeling of fear and burden of having no guiding figures, so that all women can reach their full capacity!

Ayushi Patel

I was inspired to bring this organization to life when I saw how many girls were not joining specific classes that piqued their interest because they were worried they wouldn't be welcomed in the industry. I wanted to help women all around the world join their dream careers and feel welcome. Now, my goal is to help girls worldwide feel empowered to join their dream industries, whether it's medicine, engineering, law, or even art. I wish to inspire people all around the world to join their dream careers and connect them with leaders in that field to help them become who they want to be.
